David Stead
David has been involved with Falconry since he was 12 years old and is still trying to work it out… He sincerely hopes he never does! He was trained by Steve Wright in the UK and worked as a Falconer in the UK and South Africa before he came to Dubai in 1998. He is the Owner and Managing Director of Al Hurr Falconry Services since he co-founded the company in 2002.
Nicola Ohlenforst
Nicola has a background in Tourism and Events and has been in Dubai since 1992. She is the co-founder of Al Hurr Falconry Services and her primary role has been in charge of Operations since the beginning in 2002. Nicola also runs the Development and Management of the Al Hurr Shop which opened its doors in 2007.
Simon Caws
Simon has been working with the team since the beginning of 2008. He has gained the majority of his falconry experience so far from working public demonstrations at a Wildlife Park in the UK for seven years and is now exploring a new challenge in bird control.
Bicho
Bicho is a 2000 hand reared male Brittany. His flying style has so far disappointed us except when he leaps into other people’s swimming pools. He has unfortunately caught no pigeons and his primary function is to clean the beak of recently fed falcons.
Jack
Our truly vocal Security System who looks after the whole team.
